Compact and Repair does not work in Access 2007

I have databases that were in Access 2000 and now in Access 2007. Everytime I
compact and repair it seems like nothing happens. I looks like it is working,
but when I look at the size it does not change. But if I compact in Access
2000 it works.

Barb, you are saying that the databases running in AC2007 get bigger and
bigger and never shrink via compact/repair?
If you compact a database and it has not grown since, compatcing it again
will have no effect.
