My computer was working fine on Windows 98se that had new box (New MB, chip,
power supply) old CD's and A drives. I removed the HD with 98se on it and
replaced it with a HD w/XP on it from another older working computer. Now I
cant get the newer computer that I installed the XP HD in to boot. I can get
into the Bios but thats all. A friend that knows more than me has the box now
and is stumped. Ideas?? The XP I have is a registered copy with product key.

You must boot from the XP CD and opt to do a repair install - as far as XP
is concerned it is now trying to run on a system with a new motherboard, cpu,
etc and a repair install is the method used to get things going again.
