comp forces restart after on internet for 10- 20mins

When im on the internet my computer tell me its going to
restat itself in a minute. I dont know what causes this
and it always happens at different times. Once it
happened right when I booted up and other times it
happened after a half hour. I think the message says
something about (PPC) i think protocol something.
