Common Tasks in Folders

I can not enable common tasks in my folders.. i have
tried going to TOOLS-->FOLDER OPTIONS-->SHOW COMMON TASKS
IN FOLDERS, but it is grayed out... i am unable to
select "show common tasks" instead "use windows classic
folders" is selected.. however that is not what i want..

ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS?? PLEASE I WILL TAKE ANY
HELP I CAN GET!!!!
