Why is XP freezing ?
I have this problem and did a search for help, but still
cant get the solution to this problem.
If you type into google - xp freeze - there are lots of
folk experiencing this, and the most common thing is a
computer running XP.

Any thoughts on this from anyone ?

It is hard to tell since you didn't provide much information to go on.
Here is an answer based on what you provided. It could be a mariad of
things:
Bad drivers (possibly getting updated ones would work)
Bad hardware (getting on its last leg/old/outdated)
Loose hardware (memory chip could have came loose/cable came loose)
Programs (could be a thousand things wrong here)

Well if you type 'XP freeze', then they =would= be running XP wouldn't
they. Be amazing if a Linux freeze happened to have XP in the post.

If you type 'computer freezing', you'll find it happens with all OSs.
The commonest cause is overheating (on older CPUs and motherboards),
followed by sundry other hardware problems, and occasionally software
(usually drivers, usually unsigned/unverified by WHQL).
