Comments on these specs please...?

Hello

I am thinking of going in for something on the following lines:

My requirements: a PC that can run almost 24 hours, as silent as possible, and reliable and fast. Gaming: not very important, maybe occassionally only... I guess i need something for the silent option as well. I got this quote from http://www.scan.co.uk/ I heard from a friend that they are usually reliable.

The video card: 128Mb XFX GeForce 6200 PCI-E with TurboCache : I am not sure if this has a vga out... anyone know anything about this pls? Is it enough for some casual gaming?

Looking at some threads, i think i would prefer to go in for AMD Athelon instead of Intel Pentium 4

Any general or other comments please?

Thanks in advance

Venkat

i wouldn't use scan, maybe take a look at dell their systems are reasonably good

all graphics cards have a VGA or DVI port, no use if they dont ;), it will be fine for most games depends what you want to play ?

athlon 64 is way better than intel of any sort so good choice :thumb:

the sale may be over but dell was recently running great deals on the PowerEdge(?) Servers,
ideal for you it sounds though you may want to personally upgrade the video card.

dell.com\bizpromo

there taking up to $750 right off the top, i found one for 600,great specs, imnot sure what the UK's equivelence is.
