Comments on the Konica Minolta 1350w?

This is on staples for $99.98......NO REBATE.........Let me say this
again.......NO REBATE....you pluck down a C note (+tax) and walk away with
the holy grail of all lasers nubies that ask about........."why should I buy
a laser......cause I have an inkjet".?

The reviews look very promising.....

Remember, the 1250 was featured a few times for $99 at Staples, but never
the 1350W.

That's a real nice deal--good find. All you need is the code to drop

Could be too good to pass on eventhough I'm not actually "in the
market" from one. I've found similarly good deals at staples before,
especially on the website. I'd love to hear some comments, too.

i would be interested in feedback on the 1350w, as well. i am thinking of
getting one. have read in other places of drum failures, but don't know how
prevalent that is.

i checked online last night for toner cartridge refill prices for the 1350.
5-10 different sites. not one carried them. a printer repair person i spoke
with said that they probably print ok, but there may be issues getting parts
in the future. now i am wondering if that might be true.

I was commenting on this in another forum yesterday... I have picked
up about ten item over the course of a year from the special features
section of the staples website... It pays to take a few minutes to
search for something if you are in the market... BTW... Thanks

Interesting. I still like this deal--especially for the price, but
what's up with the lack of toner cartridges? Did you check that
staples website? I haven't checked my self, but I've had good luck
with them in the past. Keep us posted if you move on it, please.

i did locate one internet supplier and the minolta/konica/qsm company. they
want $80 for a cartridge.
i think i may wait for a printer that is more availabe re: parts.

Fair enough--good luck. I think I'm going to bite on this. Based on
what I'll be using it for, I think it should hold up and definitely
earn its money's worth. May stop by a staples store tonight or
tomorrow AM to see if there a model to take a look at.
