Command to search missing or corrupt sys files

What is a command to determine if there is any missing or corrupt system
file, and if found a prompt is generated and a missing file is
reinstalled from the os setup cdrom? I once used it and if I am not
mistaken, it includes "scan" in the command word. I used it with a
switch which I forgot.

sfc /scannow
