Command Prompt won't stay open

Hi all,

I was hoping you could help me. I'm having some issues with my ip configuration and need to check my ipconfig settings but when ever I open my command prompt and request IPCONFIG the widow flickers briefly then closes. How do I keep my command prompt window from closing

WinXP Pro
2.8mhz processo
2gig RA
