Command prompt problems

Dale

I think I installed something that changed how my command
prompt works; it is no longer the default. It only
recognizes the 8 character limit-types from previous
versions of Windows.

For examples, if I did dir, and there was a directory
called "Elephants" it would display this:

08-05-2003 12:12PM <DIR> Elephants

However, if I wanted to cd to it, I'd have to type in:
cd elepha~1
in order to get to it.

I'd like to change that setting back. Can anyone help me?
Thanks!
