command line tool to retrieve usenet mail ???

i'm looking for a command line tool to retrieve usenet messages as .EML
files (standart outlook files) in order to store them in folders...

Does anyone know one ????

If I recall correctly, Outlook's .eml files are nothing more than
separate, plain-text copies of messages, with all the standard
headers.

GetMail is free for non-commercial use, and downloads pop3 messages
into separate files.

Newsplex includes a free utility NPPOP3.EXE, which downloads all you
current pop3 messages into a single plain-text (Unix/eudora type)
"mailbox" file. Most e-mail programs can easily open this format.
