Hello!

I have an application (actually, a script for [OT] mIRC) which outputs
data in CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format.

I wish to convert this to a spreadsheet so I can apply statistics
functions, like average, to the data.

Q: Is there any command-line converter from CSV to spreadsheet (Excel
format)?

Use the Import Function of Excel:

Are you putting me on. Excel handles CSV just fine.

Try simply changing file extension from .csv to .xls, open it then save
as Excel worksheet.
