I'm not sure what a command line archiver is anyway. Windows/Run saves a
history list. Do you mean something that saves command lines you type in at
the command prompt window? That could be a nice thing, if it saves across
command line sessions, has autocomplete, etc. etc.

Hehe! I was scratching my head over the same thing, only being able to
think of doskey. Then another post made it "click" - the OP is after a
file archiving program that can be run from a (DOS) commandline.

I assumed he was referring to a file archiver that runs from the command
line.
