Combo box needs to be refreshed

The combo box I created to look up data specific to another field in the form
works fine...except....when I move from one record to the next record on the
continuos form, the drop down box continues to return data specific to the
previous records data.

I solved the problem by putting a "refresh" command button on the form. How
can I have it refresh automatically upon exiting that form?

How about a requery command on the "on exit" or "unload" event.

me.[your combo].requery

that might work.

When I added the requery, it does just that - it resets the information in
the combobox as if I never made a selection. It defaults to the first value
in the field. I can't s;ect any value because as soon as I exit it requeries.
