Combining/Adding New Templates

I have a template for the first slide of any presentation I give and I have a
template for all other slides in the presentation. How do I use both of
these is the same presentation so the first slide template is only on the
first slide and the other template is on the rest?

In slide master view click "Insert New Title Master" from the Slide Master
Toolbar.

Copy and paste the elements needed for your first page to this master.

PowerPoint will use this for any slides having Title Slide layout (usually
the first)
