Com Port Is Not Available After 3 Minutes everytime the PC reboote

Anybody could help me please.

I faced a problem for my WinXP PC where every time it rebooted, I found that
the com port is in used after 3 min into the booting sequence.

I discovered this after I execute the command of Mode com1 /Status in the
command prompt, and it response as Com 1 is currently unavailable. Then I
need to go to device manager and reset the setting of the com port1 and then
it releases the com port. Then when I execute the mode com1 /status, it
reponse with the com port 1 status.

I don't know why.

Sysinternals.com has some tools that may help you find out what process is
using the com port.
