COM 5 to COM 12

Can anybody please tell me how to add COM 5 to COM 12 into my XP embedded image

Hi,

If your HW do have COM5 to COM12, it should be auto detected by "Add new
hardware" control panel.

In addition, make sure the Communications Port component is in the image.

I can add COM 5 to 12, I want to add it as a component because i do not want
to add it each time i have build a new image.

Hi JVA,

You can simply export registry for COM5~COM12 and import it into component
designer.
such as:
HKLM\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\MultifunctionAdapter\5\SerialController\4~11
HKLM\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\DEVICEMAP\SERIALCOMM\
