com 1 and bluetooth

when I start bluetooth devise its shows no device then when i go to control
pannel and configer it it com back that com 1 is not avalable now what can i
do to reconfiger this

COM1 may be enabled by the system bios as SerialPort1, if there is
one equipped in the computer. If not, COM1 may be a communications
modem. COM1 may be disabled or switched to COM2, freeing it for the
Bluetooth device. This change is initiated by first going into the
computer bios setup.
