Columns in the file explorer

When I try to change which columns to show in file explorer, like name, size,
date modified etc and then pick Tools - Folder Options View - Apply to
Folders. This to have the same view in every folder, but this doesnt happen.
The different views are still there. is there a bug or any solution?
