columns and Section breaks

Word 2003, windows XP Pro,. I'm having difficulty putting one section of
multiple columns in the middle of a document that is primarily page width.

I know I need to make a section break, insert multiple columns and then make
another section break back to single columns.

How to do this.. ? Any help greatly appreciated.

You can use Insert | Break | Continuous. But if you just select the portion
you want in multiple columns and select the desired number of columns (using
Format | Columns or the Columns button), Word will take care of inserting
the columns for you. For more, see
