column order when import excel data in Access 2007

In the previous versions of Access when I imported data from an Excel file to
a table, the order of the columns in the table stayed the same as the
spreadsheet. But when I do the same thing in 2007, the columns are all out
of order in the table. I know I can move the columns in the table but I
don't wan to have to do that every time I import data. Any suggestions?

It really makes no difference what order the columns are in in the table.
If you want to present the columns in a specific order, use a query.

I don't get this behavior, are you sure something hasn't changed in
spreadsheet/import specs?
