Column Names

I'm not sure if this is possible in Excel, but in case it does, my question
is:

The column names in Excel (A, B, C, D, etc.), is there a way to change them
to words, or am I stuck with letters?

Any help and suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Not really -- you can change them to numbers (Tools -- Options -- General --
R1C1 Reference Style). Or you can turn off Row & Column Headers (Tools --
Options -- View), then make up your own.

Other than that, you're stuck.
