column is hidden in normal view but not print view

how do i unhide a column I never hid in the first place?

Try selecting the columns on either side of the hidden column and then:

Format | Column | Unhide

BTW, this is an Italian language newsgroup. For future questions, perhaps
try the
microsoft.public.excel.misc group which is the corresponding general English
language Excel group.

Forgive me, this is clearly untrue - I momentarily lost my bearings!!

My only excuse is that I was misled by the chronologically adjacent posts
from Frank Verga who is a leading light in the Italian Excel group.
