Does anyone know if it is possible to have a column without an identifying
letter; in other words, A,B, blank C,D....?

It is purely for cosmetics (on screen) that I would like to have a white
seperating column between two sets of data with coloured infills without
showing the alphabetical ID.

TIA

Ed

No way.

You can separate your columns by setting a larger column width.

Hi

You could create your own headings, freeze the panes, and opt not display
the Excel headings (in Tools/Options/View/Row and Column Headers.

Andy.

Thanks everyone for your input. I guessed I was hoping for too much. I have
been using your suggestion, Andy, but I have to keep putting them back to
make sure future calcs are okay.

Thanks again....

Ed
