Coloring animated text

Hi all,
I've been trying to use some text effects in my Word documents (2003)
lately, and I like the blinking background because it's easy to see. It would
be very helpful, though, if I could color-code it so I could choose to have
certain text have a different color blinking background instead of black. Is
this possible? If so, would someone mind telling me how to do it? If not,
thanks for looking!

Format > Borders and Shading > Shading tab.

Or, use the Shading tool on the Tables and Borders toolbar.

Now, where did I put those sunglasses...? ;-)
