The color on my computer is not correct, it is not
showing any red. What can I do to fix it?

Sound like a monitor problem . Use the monitor adjustments to confirm . JJ

Also check that the cable is firmly connected.

If adjusting monitor doesn't help, try connecting another monitor to verify
it's not the PC/video card. Connect the monitor to another PC to verify it
works correctly, or not.

Hi Sabrina
Have you had any luck yet? I now have the same problem - just variations of
grey, some blue & yellow, no red, seems I'm missing the primary red. So I'm
wondering if you've been able to solve it, and how you did it. Many thanks.

OK, I've fixed my problem - the absence of a number of colour shades, which
it seems was mainly due to the loss of RED. I found that I could print the
full range of colours OK, even though they did not show up on the screen -
suggesting a monitor problem. So I looked at the monitor connection, as
suggested on this site. I found there was a poor connection/bent pin on the
connection from the monitor to the computer. Once I fixed this, the rainbow
of colours returned to my screen.
Many thanks for everyone's help, David
