Color Scheme

Hi,

Can anybody inform me how to create or obtain new color schemes for Windows
XP Professional?

The three available - Blue(default), Silver and Olive-Green - could do with
some additions (at least to one of my users). I refer to Display
Properties>Appearance>Color Sceme.

I did a search but maybe did not do the right thing because all I came up
with are themes, which is not what was wanted right now!

You were almost there. Dispaly Properties>Appearance> Click on the Advanced
button. Lots of choices....

Thanks for the quick response.

The suggested pathway does not enable one to change color schemes though!


Actually, this has been somewhat of a historical issue with Microsoft. I had
encountered this even since the days of testing out the Windows XP Pro
evaluation edition. There was "simply no time" then, for whatsoever reason)
for Microsoft to come up with color schemes other than Luna - seems there
were problems with vision-impaired users or something if I remember
correctly.

My color change quest continues though! ;-)

The WinCustomize site (www.wincustomize.com) has instructions about
creating your own color schemes and themes. It also has links to
programs to help you do this, as well as a lot of themes.
