Color Red seems to have disappeared!

We have no color red in our monitor display at all, it does not appear in the
choices when trying to switch colors and it is now very annoying and at times
impossible to see certain web pages correctly now. Anyone have any ideas?
We don't know where our red went!

It's most likely that the monitor is broken. Test it in another computer.

Almost certainly, it's one of three things:

1. The monitor has failed

2. Your video card has failed

3. The cable connecting the two is loose.

Try tightening the cable first, since it's easiest. If that doesn't fix it,
either borrow a friends monitor to try or try your monitor on his computer.
That should tell you whether it's the monitor or the video card.
