color quality settings

My color is set for medium 16 bit and when I shut down or reboot, it reverts
to the lowest setting...What can I do to make it stat at 16? I have looked
at all the troubleshooting areas and cannot find anyting about this..Thank
you!
 
Go to the display properties screen. Set up your settings. Click apply. Click
on themes tab select the theme you want then click on save . This worked for
me after changing video boards, getting updated drivers, and anything I could
think of.Hope this workes for you.
