Color Printing in Publisher

I am trying to print a document in Publisher that has both grayscale pages
and color pages. My copier (which directly connects to my computer system)
will automatically distinguish between color and grayscale and print
accordingly. However, in Publisher, it will not distinguish between the two
and will print the entire publication in color which is very expensive. Has
this happened to anyone else and is it a matter of overriding the print
driver in publisher. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
