I only have blues, black, gey and white in my color palette in my appearance
window, how do i get the other colors, reds, green, purple etc?

"Appearance Window"? How did you get that to pop-up? What object are you
working with here?

A few details please.

thanks rick, from desk top i clicked properties, then click appearance, then
advance, then on of the color blocks when doing that I get 16 close but not
the vast aray of colors that i used to get, then when i click other it just
gives me more of the sames colors in the palette, i tried uninstalling the
monitor and that didnt work, i had all my colors until last week, I went on
the job to get IT person add nortons to scan for virsus, when I return home,
I had none of my other colors, I asked IT person, he stated he only added
norton to my computer.

Then you are in the wrong newsgroup. This newsgroup is for questions about
the database application, Microsoft Access that is part of MS Office
Professional.

I'd suggest you find a Windows newsgroup that deals with configuring the
desktop, colors, etc.

If you right-click the desktop, choose Properties, then the Setting tab,
what's displayed in the drop-down box for Colors? Maybe you've got it
set to some minimal number of colors, not High Color or True Color.
