I'm trying to print a calendar from excel that I made and
it is very basic. Each row is either white or gray. The
problem comes when I save the file as html and then try to
print/print preview, the color goes away ??? Any
suggestions?

TIA

Hi Jenny,
Perhaps
Q320531 -- OFF: Changes to Fill Color and Fill Pattern Are Not Displayed,
Incorrect/missing colors may occur with use of High Contrast under
Display tab of Accessibility Options. Colors don't show on monitor however,
you may be able to see the changes in print preview and on a printed page.

You might want to phrase a question so that it is clear what you
have, what expect, and what you see. The way I read the question
if appears you want to add color when you start with none.

Thanks for the reply, I still can't figure it out.
Here's an example of what I'm trying to do:

open a new excel sheet
make the background color of one of the cells red
make another yellow
then save the file as a .htm file
open it in IE and it shows ok
try a print preview and the colors are gone
printing the page doesn't show the colors either (on a
color printer)

Thanks again.

Hi Jenny,
I do get the same results as you -- previews in Black and White,
but other web pages of mine created by coding HTM preview in Color.
Does it print in color. I have a color printer but only prints black.

If you add colored fonts to the mix they do show up in
IE Print Preview. Same results with Print Preview in Mozilla.

So it is not something from high contrast setting.
I expect it is the MS Office schemas.

I used save as selection from from the Excel sheet
for a selection including color background as you
described.

Hi Jenny,
What option in IE, because when the HTML is generated
by Excel, I get your results in both IE and Mozilla.

Yet if I generate my own HTML then I do *not* get those results.
