Is there a way to increase the color depth husing remote
desktop of a 2000 terminal services?

I could have sworn that the colors looked fine, then
somehow someay, they went to 8-bit.

Thanks in advance,

256 colors is the maximum color depth for RDP 5.0. Microsoft increased this to 24 bit on RDP 5.1 & 5.2 on Windows XP Pro & Server 2003

The only way to get Terminal Services Sessions over 256 colors with Windows 2000 Server is with the ICA Protocol & Citrix MetaFrame

Probably cheaper to upgrade to 2003 if this is the only feature you need
