Color changes on monitor

The monitor has three color 'guns'. You lost the red one. You need a new
monitor. (Fixing them is more than it's worth, they break again right away)

If not the monitor, it could be the graphics card. You might try
another borrowed monitor first, to make sure what needs replacing.

Also I've seen many faulty VGA cables. They seem to go bad where the
cable enters the plug (either end) and you can sometimes fix things just
by fiddling with it.
