Collections - deleting

I can delete items from a collection in the collection
pane, but I am still left with all the titles of every
collection I have created, in the drop down menu at the
top. There are no items left in these as they have all
been deleted. How can I get rid of all the names of the
collections? At this rate I will end up with hundreds of
them!

If you right click the collection file you wish to delete
then choose the delete option it should remove it for
you. Obviously only do this on your own colection folders
that were created when capturing video
