Collapsing right hand side on the taskbar ( does not occur )

I'm trying to figure out how to cause the right hand side
of my task bar to collapse down to a few icons and then
expand when I click on the arrow. I may have disabled it
and can't figure out how to activate it again.

Please Help

Start>Settings>Taskbar and Start Menu>Customise. Hide what you want hidden
using the Customization Notification options. Click on "behavior" and pick
from choices in drop-down: "always hide", "hide when inactive" or "always
show"

Hi Michael,

Set the first icon to always hide, that will restore the chevron.
