Collapsable Emails

My emails are storing as Collapsable folders (ex. if you look at your folders
in your inbox, the have a + or - to view what is in your folder, my emails
are doing the same things, categorizing themselves with emails that have the
same subject heading. Please can anyone help how to turn this feature off?
I am not even sure how it started. Thanks so much for any help.

SInce you did not state your Outlook version, the following is for Outlook
2002/2003:

Click Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail Options. Uncheck the box
labeled "In folders other that the Inbox, save replies with original
message".

OOPS! I have 2003, however I looked for those options and I don't have an
E-mail option in tools-options, I did find an automatic expand grouped
messages option and clicked that, but I am not noticing any differences.
Everything is still grouping. Thanks in advance for any more help and your
time.

Yes you do. It's on the Preferences tab, which is the default tab selected
when you open the Options dialogue. If you don't see it, then you don't
have Outlook 2003. Click Help>About and post what it says.

:) You are correct!! I have 2004. I am sorry! Do you know how to
correct this in 2004? Thanks for your patience and help!

There is no Outlook 2004, as far as I know. Is this on a PC? Click
Help>About and post what it says.

Sorry Brian! I never received notice of this response. Yes this is on a
PC. It says Outlook Express 6, 2004 Microsoft Corporation. Does that help.
Thank you so much for responding, this is soooo frustrating!!

This newsgroup is for Microsoft Office Outlook, a completely separate
application from Outlook Express, which is actually part of Internet
Explorer. Asking your question in an Outlook Express newsgroup like
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general will get
you a better response.
