Coding for use in global edit/replace such as ^t for tab

I am using word 2003 and I used to create a lot of macros in word 2 and I
remember we had a sheet with the codes for tabs, paragraph returns, and even
to find text and highlight to the end of the line. I am looking for these
codes so I can create an advanced macro to clean up a 1600 page document down
to 22 pages. I have looked through the faqs and help and still am not able
to find anything. Please help.
