I get this messag
The file F:\ATI9120.AVI cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again

And they use to work a couple of days ago. Don't know what happened but now Win Media won't play AVI either! Help please!

Did you try other AVI files -- ones that you
know you could play a couple days ago?

AVI is a file extension that is used for
several different video formats.

If the answer to the first question is yes,
try using System Restore.

something there will help.

Hi Yannick,

Did you create a system restore point before these troubles. If so try
using it to put your system back into working order.
