Code on Switchboard causing problems

I'm running Access 97 on a Windows 2000 machine. The database in question
used to work just fine. A short time ago, Office 2000 was re-installed on
this machine, and I had to re-install Access 97 (I renamed hatten.ttf to
hatten.sav prior to installing Access 97.)

Now when I open up the switchboard at startup, I get the msg:
Function or interface marked as restricted, or the function uses an
automation type not supported in Visual Basic. When I click OK, the "set dbs
+ current Db()" is highlighted.

My other databases work just fine, but most of them don't have much VB code.

Always grateful for help!!

I guess it is a typing error on the post?

The usual statement is:

Set dbs = CurrentDb()
