code not working

i have a table with fields = item code (id) and photo path (2 fields).
i have another table with item code (id) and many other fields.
i have created a query that combines these two tables and is based on
multiple criteria selection from a main form. the query is working fine.
i have created a report based on the query and it fails to work (i get error
13). in the on format event of the detail section i have placed the code
"me! [image].picture = me! [photopath].
if i link the report to the 1st table it is working fine but i cannot get it
to work with the query!

what could be wrong?
