Hey...every morning when I check the computer...I am greeted with an error
that says CMOS Checksum error....defaults loaded...and when I use it
normally, once in a while it will shut down and then say that windows did not
shut down properly, and I have to use the last known good configuration to
boot it up....anybody know about either of these.....anything would be great

That probably means a old bios. Look on the boards website and see if there
are updates.

Hi KJ,
How old is your Computer?, try to Get a new COMS Battery , you may have
outdated Battery.
Try to be sure that your Power Cables are fitted Firmly in their Sockets,
becarefull from electric shock please! and do not fry your motherboard with
your ESD charge from your Body.
Hope this helps
Regards
nass
Please if no help from the above write back with your OS Specs.
