cmos battery low

When booting up computer, this is what comes up on the screen. cmos battery
low. How do i rectify this????????

Replace the CMOS battery..

Refer to your manual or just open your computer case up (powered off and
unplugged naturally) and find the batter on the mainboard - get a
replacement and replace it.

Thank you for your reply, Does it look like a standard battery?

In most systems - it looks like a big round watch-battery.
Yours should have the model number stamped on it for easy replacement from
most stores that carry such batteries.

It's usually a large flat battery similar in size to a US nickel, like what
is used in vehicle remote start/lock devices. Refer to your motherboard
documentation for the location (though it's usually easy to find).
