Hi all,

I have a question for you. I have one startup batch file and one vbscript
file which are in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start
Menu\Programs\Startup

The user does not have administrator or power user rights on that computer
and when they log on to computer it asks them File open confirmation windows
(which says this should be virus etc.) how can i disable it?

Best.

This is probably an Internet Explorer setting.

In IE try going to Tools / Internet Options.

Select the Security Tab and the Zone where localhost would be.

Click the Custom button and scroll down to the Miscellanous section.

There should be radio buttons for how to handle lauching of applications and unsafe files. It's probably set to promt which is why the dialog is popping up asking for confirmation. This was causing us problems with our SMS distributions on W2K3. Hope this helps.

I believe it will work appreciate for your help.

Best
