clustering .net servers?

Does anyone know of a good source of information on
clustering .net servers, preverably in a load-balanced
configuration rather than a hot standby?

NLBS is part of Windows Server.

How you configure it varies slightly from one version of the server OS to
another. This is the link for Windows Server 2003 (the current version of
the server):

You can also do web farms with HW devices like Cisco LD, F5 BigIP, etc. You
will want to check the docs for those products to see how to config them.
