Hi

We have a Compaq SAN MSA 1000 with two nodes. Active/passive.

W2K with Sp3

We have several cluster resources file shares in our cluster. One is called
Users_on_G

and consists of users home directories. Under the file share every users
folders

are shared with username$.

The problem we have is that the users are able to connect

to there home folders and can see subfolders but the folders does not have
any files???

But the files is of course on the server but the users cant see them. The
solution for

this is to bring the share off-line/on-line and then everything is working
again.

This has happened several times and we wonder what to do about it?

This is from the clusterlog:

Hi Hakan,
The first thing you want to do is use this document to create the
fileshares:

224967 How to Create File Shares on a Cluster
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=224967

This will walk you thru making cluster file shares for exactly this issue
as file shares on clusters can not be correctly created in Windows but must
be made via cluster administrator.
