Go to control panel, Programs and Features, wait for the list to populate
fully, and then look for Google in the names of installed programs.

Cannot get browser to work w/java, at Java Console (located in Control Panel,
open Java) (Advanced Tab - scroll to "Default Java for Browsers") says I do
not have sufficient permission to make changes-cannot select "Microsoft
Internet Explorer" Gonna try yahoo browser. Pogo will not work with
Microsoft, atleast not mine -Windows Vista.

Sorry, we know nothing about Club Pogo here as this forum supports Windows
Defender. However, if you do an internet search you'll see many references
to making sure that you're running the latest version of Sun Java Runtime
Engine (JRE), that all previously installed versions are uninstalled, and
that all Sun IE browser add-ons are enabled.

IE > Tools > Manage Ad-ons > select Add-ons that have been used by Internet
Explorer > sort by column "Publisher" > Scroll to Sun Microsystems and
ensure that all add-ons are enabled including SSVHelper Class and Java
Console.

Another approach you could use is to ask at Club Pogo support itself...
