How do you close the task manager? No right click etc.

Click the X on the title bar.

How do you close the task manager? No right click etc.

The same way as you close any other program. Click the X in the upper
right-hand corner.

Is the X, and all the tabs, not there? If not, you're running in
what's called "Small Footprint Mode." To change back and forth from
this mode to regular mode, just double-click on the border.
