how can i stop the "bing-bong" sound when i close Explorer browser? i've
already been into the "sounds and audio devices" in control panel and have
all sounds turned off. thanks, dan

What ISP do you use? Does it use a specialized browser, like Earthlink?
If yes, then look in the preferences for any ISP-related software.
Otherwise, you may have some other program that is running in the
background whenever you are on the Internet. It can't hurt for you to
do a scan for spyware with Spybot Search & Destroy from
www.security.kolla.de and Ad-aware from www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure to
update these programs before running them. It is best to run antivirus
and spyware removal tools in Safe Mode. If this didn't answer your
question, then please post back with some more details about your
system, when this happens, etc.
