closing program files

I need help closing out my document file without it going to a blank page
afterwards. Can someone help me?
 
Probably not because your question doesn't seem to make much sense.
What is "closing out my document file" mean?
Also, what do you mean by "going to a blank page afterwards" ?
Mentioning what program you are using would also be helpful, very helpful.

Is this the right newsgroup for this question? This is the
